Description
This beautiful layered smoothie brings together two great smoothies in one! A pineapple spinach layer topped by a Wild Blueberry cherry layer makes this a delicious union of flavors!
Ingredients
For the green layer:
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/3 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach, lightly packed
For the blueberry layer:
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/3 cup 100% apple juice
- 1 cup frozen Wild Blueberries
- 1/2 cup frozen cherries
Instructions
For the green layer:
- Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend/puree for about 60 seconds or until desired consistency.
- Pour into two large glasses. Rinse the blender out.
For the blueberry layer:
- Place all ingredients in the blender. Blend/puree for about 60 seconds or until desired consistency.
- Pour evenly over the top of the already poured green layers. Serve immediately.
