Description

This beautiful layered smoothie brings together two great smoothies in one! A pineapple spinach layer topped by a Wild Blueberry cherry layer makes this a delicious union of flavors!


Ingredients

Units Scale

For the green layer:

  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/3 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach, lightly packed

For the blueberry layer:

  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/3 cup 100% apple juice
  • 1 cup frozen Wild Blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen cherries

Instructions

For the green layer:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend/puree for about 60 seconds or until desired consistency.
  2. Pour into two large glasses. Rinse the blender out.

For the blueberry layer:

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender. Blend/puree for about 60 seconds or until desired consistency.
  2. Pour evenly over the top of the already poured green layers. Serve immediately.
