Oven Roasted Lemon Asparagus

Description

Fresh asparagus combined with zesty lemon all oven roasted together make this a must-have side dish for any occasion!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Wash/rinse the asparagus and trim the ends, if needed. Place on foil-lined baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over asparagus. Rub to evenly coat all the spears. Squeeze the juice of a halved lemon over top of the asparagus. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Lightly toss to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
