Description
Enjoy this strawberry banana chocolate smoothie as a delicious breakfast or a fun and sweet snack.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 3/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 medium banana, fresh or frozen slices
- 1 medjool date
- 1 Tablespoon milled flax seed
- 2 Tablespoons dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients into a blender. Blend on high until smooth, 30-60 seconds.
- Enjoy immediately.
Notes
If you use fresh strawberries and banana the smoothie will be less icy/frozen. To help, I recommend adding in 1/4 to 1/2 cup ice cubes to get that thicker icy smoothie texture.
