I received free samples of Sabra Spreads mentioned in this post. By posting this recipe I am entering a recipe contest sponsored by Sabra and am eligible to win prizes associated with the contest. I was not compensated for my time.
Update: Sabra no longer carries their line of Sabra Spreads. However, this sandwich is still delicious with any of your favorite Sabra hummus dips in a tub! The recipe has been updated to reflect this change.
Lunch can sometimes seems like a mundane meal. I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get in a rut of eating the same old sandwich every day. BORING!
I mean, sandwiches are great and can be made in so many different ways but sometimes my mom brain gets stuck and can’t think outside my traditional sandwich box.
That’s why I was so happy when I heard about The Recipe ReDux sponsored recipe contest by Sabra Hummus. Sabra has come out with a new line of sandwich spreads!
Three new sandwich spreads to spice up your boring sandwiches: sea salt and cracked pepper, garlic herb, and honey mustard! I have tasted each of these and I can tell you, these spreads are legit!
Each one is delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavors.
Hummus or Mayonnaise?
Compared to traditional mayonnaise Sabra Spreads are better for you, with 75% less fat than mayo. Oh, and they come in a convenient easy squeeze bottle! Easy, healthy and delicious all in one.
Dietitian approved right here.
I love using hummus as a replacement for different ingredients, including on my sandwiches. I feel it gives a depth of flavor that mayo can’t offer, while also bringing heart healthy fats, fiber and less calories than traditional mayonnaise.
How to make Grilled Turkey Avocado Sandwiches
These sandwiches are a breeze to make. Spread the hummus on, pile on the insides of your sandwich and cook it up.
Voila! Lunch is served.
My husband loved these sandwiches so much he asked me to make him another! Seriously, these sandwich spreads are a lunch time game changer!
