The Inside Scoop:
Welcome to October! Can you believe it’s already here? Of course, Halloween costumes were out at Costco in July, so I knew October was only a couple months away! 😉 This past week I did something I hadn’t done before – cook with a REAL pumpkin! (If you missed it, check out my recipe post for Pumpkin Soup). I had about 3/4 of my pumpkin left, so I baked and pureed it to use in other recipes! This is so much cheaper than buying it in a can, I don’t know why I haven’t been doing this before! One tip is to freeze it so you can save it for later!
This week had some great posts to read, I wish I could share them all! There also has been an explosion of fall-themed recipes, and I’ve featured a few of my favorites that are going onto my must-make list! So check out’s this week’s Link Love and have a happy weekend!
