This Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup is a sweet and delicious topper for your morning pancakes, waffles, french toast and more!
Breakfast is hands down my favorite meal of the day. If you scroll through my recipe archives, you’ll be able to tell that right away! This time instead of creating a breakfast entrée I am sharing a different breakfast staple – syrup. But not just any syrup, cinnamon vanilla syrup! And just in case you were wondering, this syrup is NOT sugar free, ‘lite’, or “healthier”, but it IS delicious! I have been using it all week to top my breakfasts.
My cinnamon vanilla syrup is easy to make. Simply boil the water and brown sugar together until it is reduced and slightly thickened, then whisk in the cinnamon, vanilla and some half and half. That’s it! You’re ready to give your taste buds a delight!
You can use this syrup on any breakfast item, such as waffles, pancakes and french toast, You could also pour some in your coffee or hot chocolate to add a bit of extra flavor.
