Enjoy the classic combo of PB&J in snack form with these Peanut Butter and Jelly Energy Bites. You’e only 4 ingredients away to enjoying this satisfying treat!
I was so inspired by my energy bites recipe round-up last month that I had to create another recipe! I am a huge snack fan and energy bites make great portable snacks for anytime of the day. Plus, most energy bites are super-easy to make, which adds to the appeal. These Peanut Butter and Jelly Energy bites are no exception.
This recipe only has 4 ingredients. Yep – 1, 2, 3, 4. Let’s get the obvious out of the way: 1. Peanut Butter and 2. Jelly. Then we have 3. Oats and 4. Ground Flax Seed. This recipe is jam-packed (pun intended) with fiber, healthy fats and protein.
Super easy. And prep is just as easy. All you do is place everything in a bowl, mix together and form into balls. And don’t forget the best part: eat and enjoy!
Another great thing about these is you can choose whichever flavor of jelly you prefer. I chose Smucker’s Natural Strawberry Fruit Spread (affiliate), but you can choose grape, apricot, raspberry, orange marmalade, blackberry, or…well, you get the point. I used 2 tablespoons of jam in my recipe, but if you want a little extra jelly flavor add up to 1 tablespoon extra.
If you love the classic combo of PB&J, I know you enjoy these Peanut Butter and Jelly Energy Bites. Let me know in the comments what you think!
